Empower U HK is focused on providing seminars, coaching, and specialty programs to serve parents, teen aged youth, and their families. Residential Youth Leadership Programs are offered during summer and winter break, with family coaching and parenting programs available to support healthy families.
Each member of the family is making choices that impact the current dynamic, therefore it is critical that not only teens, but parents and extended family are involved in the process of healing and creating desired outcomes. Building on clearly framed "Values", rather than focusing on fault or blame, we focus on family purpose and vision. We work towards actualising the vision through honest and effective communication; using specialised and structured communication tools, families learn to resolve conflict through honesty and respect, creating empathy a space for responsible action.
In my nearly 20 years working with teens and families, without a doubt, when the parents choose to present, committed, and embrace an active role in the process, the work we do with the teens in Youth Leadership Camp is reinforced, creating lasting results, significantly increasing value and results within the whole family.
